By the end of this course learners will be able to appreciate some factors which art and culture have in the second language classroom. They will be able to reflect upon how English culture enhances learning English as a second language in the classroom to better understand individual's values, attitudes and beliefs regarding the target culture in an atmosphere of respect for cultural diversity. Furthermore, positive attitudes towards inclusion of all learners will be fostered in an atmosphere of social justice where all cultures are deemed valuable.
